My name is Emma Moling and I am a double bassist from South Tyrol, north of Italy. Besides music, I have a great passion for the mountains and I love spending my free time in nature.
At the age of 9 I started my musical journey with the double bass at the music school of Appiano, South Tyrol, with Hans Peter Nocker.
I obtained my Bachelor's degree in double bass at the Claudio Monteverdi Conservatory in Bolzano under the inspiring guidance of Professor Rino Braia. In 2020, I continued my studies in the Netherlands, where I completed my Master's degree in Double Bass at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague under the supervision of Professor Theotime Voisin.
Music and nature have enriched me in many ways and now I would like to share these experiences with other people.
in 2021 I started to work on my project LASSÖ. This project particularly dear to me. I am working on it with great passion and I would like to continue it in the future. My cousin Luca died in 2015 under an avalanche on the Vallon basin. Since then, I have had the desire to dedicate a special event to him. That is why LASSÖ - A concert for you was born. I am looking forward to developing this project further and to spreading sonorous traces in the mountains together with other music lovers.
